Tajiri vs. Shannon Moore Some great scientific and submission moves in this match. Moore looks very impressive. Both men go back and forth more times than I can remember. Both men exchange chops in the corner and Moore follows up with an uppercut and tries the same thing again on Tajiri in the other corner but Tajiri reverses it with a Tarantuala. Moore fires back on Tajiri with punches, a dropkick an a couple clotheslines and a spinning neckbreaker, 2 count only. Moore gets his feet in Tajiri's face and hits a moonsault, 2 count only. What You Won't See On WWE SmackDown! This Week Story By: Fred Cook July 09, 2002
The Rock graces the turnbuckles to the fans delight. Rock goes out and rams Angle's head on the seat of Taker's motorcycle. A moment later Angle yells out for The Rock to return and tells Undertaker he didn't want him and wanted to make Rock to tap tonight and he's not gonna wait for next week. Undertaker gets on his bike and each time Angle yells for Rock, Taker rev's his engine loudly a few times and leaves up the ramp on his bike. Angle continues to yell for The Rock and that he's gonna break his ankle either tonight, next week or the week after and that his ass is his. Angle wanted to end the whole ordeal.
The Rock finally comes back out and tells Angle to shut up as the people are chanting The Rock's name. The Rock goes down and picks on a fat fan that hailed from New York. He eventually tells the fan to pie his ass back to New York. When Angle gets the fat guys Ozzy hat, Angle said he likes New York which got a lot of boo's from the fans. Rock asked Angle if he liked Ozzy and Angle said "Who's Ozzy?". Rock liked the hat as it showed off Angle's bald side from it. Rock said the fans have had a long night and refers to the fat fan who should go back to Dunkin' Donuts. Rock then said that the fat fan has nothing but a mouthfull of strudle coming to him tonight...LOL!!.
Rock said that we all had one hell of a night tonight. Rock says it's great to be back and asked Angle to shake his hand and called it a night. Angle was VERY reluctant, one moment he wanted to and then just scratched his head. Rock goes out to the ringside are and gets a Just Bring It hand. Angle turns the hat backwards, Angle says it's stupid and then Rock said Angle is stupid. Rock takes the hand off and offered his hand at last Angle shook it. Rock and Angle continue shaking, Rock then said that Angle still and forever will be an A**hole and gives him a Rock Bottom!. Rock goes back up the ramp and Angle is left in the ring. Angle then gets between the ropes and says he's not stupid, he then calls Rock and idiot, a jerk, a jabroni and an A**hole and then says Welcome Back Anyway. Rock comes back down the ramp and shakes Angle's hand again and Angle asked if he was gonna give him the Rock Bottom on the ramp but Rock said No and that he needed him for next week. Rock raised Angle's hand and them hits his shoulder and runs to the back. Then the show finally ends.

Goldberg Talks On Kevin Nash's Injury, Bret Hart's Stroke, more Story By: Amish Patel July 10, 2002
Bill Goldberg, on his new launched site (BillGoldberg.com), expressed his feelings on numerous issues, including the injury that Kevin Nash sustained on RAW and the recent stroke suffered by Bret Hart. Below are the main points of worth:
Goldberg On KEVIN NASH'S Injury:
It's a shame that, in Kevin's first time back in the ring following his bicep injury, he's put back on the shelf. That sucks. I feel bad for him and wish Kevin a full and speedy recovery. By making these comments, that should answer the much-asked question about why I have a link to Kevin Nash's website on my site.
Goldberg On BRET HART'S Stroke:
Though our relationship has sometimes been riddled with turmoil, I still owe Bret a lot when it comes to increasing my knowledge about the wrestling business. I hope Bret also has a full and speedy recovery - and hope for nothing but the best for him in the future.

The Rock's Return, WWE's Downturn; McMahon's Reaction, more Story By: Amish Patel July 10, 2002
At Smackdown, there was a room backstage with the Rock's name on it. It is not known whether it was used as a locker room, either way, it was not shown on camera.
Sources are claiming that the WWE is very disappointed with the way that tickets sold, especially since it was the Rock's return last night. The show was hyped a lot by the WWE to gain more fans and yet it did not even come close to being a sell out. As the Rock returned from the taping of "The Mummy Returns" last year, it brought about a little short-term spike in ratings; however, the same cannot be said this time.
The recent downturn for the WWE is causing a lot of stress amongst the workers, which is ultimately making the company very difficult to work in. Vince McMahon is evidently disappointed and desperately wants his fortunes to change for the better. No sudden turnaround seems to be on the horizon, but if things continue as they are, it may only be a matter of time.

WWE Confirms End Of DDP's Wrestling Career; Future Plans; More Story By: Amish Patel July 10, 2002
It has just recently been confirmed by both WWE management, and his insurance company, that the career of Diamond Dallas Page is now officially over due to the decisions made by the previously stated parties. DDP has had one of the most intriguing careers out of anybody in the business and he will not soon be forgotten in the eyes of many fans, and wrestlers alike.
The initial injury that caused the sudden downfall of Page's career came on April 16, 2002 when Page was asked to be put in the ring with Bob Holly to put him over. Page wasn't particularly thrilled with this decision, but nonetheless he went in there and did his job. In doing so, he took a very stiff clothesline by Holly which initially messed up Page's neck, and it was probably worsened by taking a bad bump off a superplex and landing badly on the back of his neck. His career was seemingly ended in a match that was made to be forgotten about the minute it ended.
After seeing a spinal specialist in Birmingham, Alabama, a letter reccommending that Page no longer wrestle due to neck problems was sent to the WWE front offices, and from there both Vince McMahon and Jim Ross came to a unanimous agreement to let Page know that they wouldn't recommend him making a comeback, they wanted him to retire.
Just about every specialist that Page met with except for one had recommended for him to retire. At 46 years old, Page was still going to make an attempt at a comeback. Dr. Lloyd Youngblood had told Page that he could still wrestle as long as he could handle the pain, at which point he would then need surgery that would definately end his career. Dr. Youngblood is considered the WWE's main guy when it comes to neck problems, due to his past success with Steve Austin having a full recovery from his injury, as well as many other wrestlers undergoing the same problems and treatment.
What really killed Page's chances of making the return, was when Lloyd's of London, Page's insurance company, informed him that if he decided to wrestle again they were going to terminate his insurance policy. Page couldn't mess around with that, so he decided to retire.
Although Page won't be with the WWE in a wrestling capacity any longer, it is expected that he will stay with the company in a capacity that has yet to be determined, at least through the end of his current contract which still has two years remaining. Page's first big role in WCW was an announcer, and he has been considered for an announcing position with the WWE. Page has also said that he would like to work in public relations.

Summerslam/Nash, Nidia Rumor, New Wrestler Debuting, more Story By: Amish Patel July 10, 2002
Nidia has currently been receiving many positive reviews backstage for her work as Jaime Noble's valet. Nidia has definitely, in the opinion of many, improved her promo quality and has a good chemistry with Noble. However, in a rumor killer, Nidia and Noble are not really a couple, as Noble is happily married with a child.
Chris Harvard, despite appearing weekly on RAW, is still training in the HWA facility. Many feel that he still needs some in-ring work, although nothing very negative about his character has been said yet. Additionally, Paulina from Tough Enough 1 is also training at HWA, but is not under a WWE Contract.
The word going around backstage is that Mike Sanders may be called up to the active WWE roster soon due to Nash's growing influence and power backstage.
Summerslam tickets will be up for sale July 27th, with the show being in Uniondale, NY on August 25th.

Pro wrestling does not seem to be showing their news headlines today so i will post some latest news from wrestlingplanet.com
Chris Jericho has apparently re-signed with WWE. His contract either ran out recently and he re-signed an extension, or it was due to expire shortly and he re-signed. Either way, Jericho has extended his deal with WWE.
Ron Waterman, Shelton Benjamin, and Nick Dinsmore are the next three WWE developmental talents in line to be called up to the main roster. They will be touring with the main roster for house shows, much like Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and John Cena did before getting brought to the main WWE roster.
Vince McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan is one of the top matches planned for SummerSlam in August. WWE is attempting to build a mega-card on the show featuring Brock Lesnar's title shot, a big match with The Rock, and the Hogan/McMahon match.

WWE wrestlers are very impressed with the NWA:TNA product. A lot of wrestlers spoke highly of the X-division. The feeling backstage is they hope NWA succeed so that there is some competition for talent.
Many wrestlers backstage were star struck when meeting Ricky Steamboat. They felt he was very professional and helpful, talking to a few wrestlers about selling. Steamboat also helped call several spots during the main event featuring Shamrock and Malice. Wrestlers hope he will be back for future shows.
Shawn Michaels has been telling friends that he is interested in returning to the ring. The only thing holding Shawn back is his reputation. Five years ago, Michaels suffered a serious back injury and fears that if he returns, he will no longer be able to perform like he once did.

Thanks to Dave Higgins for the following:
During a phone interview with KTRH-AM 740 (Houston) on Wednesday night, Bill Goldberg was asked if his fans would see him back in the wrestling ring in the next six months. Goldberg's matter-of-fact response was simply, "I will be back in the ring within 2002." And thus the Goldberg return-to-the-ring watch begins.
During the interview on KTRH's "SportsBeat" show to promote Goldberg's first public autograph appearance in three years this Sunday, July 14 at the Tri-Star Collectors Show in Houston, co-host Kenny Hand recalled his earliest memories of hearing the name Bill Goldberg--from none other than former Atlanta Falcons and Houston Oilers head coach Jerry Glanville, who told Hand at the time how Goldberg "killed people in practice" during his days with the Falcons.
After discussing the fact that his progression from football player to wrestler was not an easy one, Goldberg admitted that while he misses the wrestling scene, especially the fans, he does not follow the current wrestling scene. "I'm as far away from it as humanly possible, only because it's killing me not being there and being a part of it," he said. "I miss the action, I miss the adrenaline, but I miss the fans most of all.
