Lewis/Lesnar Update, Goldberg's TV Return, & More
Sources claim a decision could be made as soon as this weekend as to whether or not the Lennox Lewis vs. Brock Lesnar shoot-fight at next February's No Way Out pay-per view will take place. If it were to happen, it would be a WWE-promoted event which would lead many to believe it isn't a legitimate shoot-fight, and the outcome would be pre-determined.
On E! News Live tonight, Thursday, at 6:00PM Eastern Time, Goldberg will be interviewed by E!'s Jules Asner. Goldberg will talk about his upcoming movie, "Loney Tunes: Back In Action."
Don't forget at 10:00PM Eastern Time tonight, the first episode of the third season of the joint MTV/WWE hit Tough Enough will return. Much like the last two seasons, tonight's episode will be somewhat of a 'casting special' where the contestants will be picked to be on the show this year.

--Scott Hall is scheduled to return next week to face Jeff Jarrett for NWA/TNA.
--Kevin Nash could be able to return to the ring in time for the Royal Rumble. This would be 2 months earlier than doctors told him he should be able to wrestle.

----The Nicole Bass/Joey Buttafuoco match scheduled for 11/15 has been canceled because Howard Stern claimed that Buffafuoco's people wanted too many ridiculous clauses put in the contract.

Huge Details On The Lewis-Lesnar Shoot-Fight
As you know, it has been confirmed that WWE and Lennox Lewis are in talks to have Lewis participate in a WWE event. Lewis' representatives have gone public that the key discussions are concerning Lewis serving as a guest referee, but I have been told that there is still talk of a Lewis-Lesnar shoot fight.
If that happens, rules being thrown around are that Lesnar would be forced to end the fight in reasonable time if he took Lewis to the ground. Otherwise, he'd be forced to fight standing up against the boxer, before proceeding with the match. There is also talk of banning punching, either for only Lesnar, or both. The real question is how dangerous the officials feel Lewis can be if allowed to punch, however, that is his only real specialty. Nothing, as of right now, is confirmed.

New No Mercy Match, Rikishi Update, & More
Expect Jamie Noble vs. Tajiri for the Cruiserweight championship to be added to the No Mercy card on WWE Sunday Night Heat prior to the pay-per view.
Thus far, WWE only has 6 matches confirmed for the pay-per view with only Heat as the show left to add more. Generally speaking, WWE runs 7-8 matches on a pay-per view so if not Noble/Tajiri, expect at least 1-2 more matches to be announced on Heat.
Rikishi will be hosting the No Mercy party at The World in Times Square, New York this Sunday. You can get tickets at The World Box Office on 43rd St. and Broadway, or by calling (212) 398-3439 to charge by telephone.

Triple H Interview: His Mom, The thingy-Suplex, & More
My TiVo picked up the Wayne Brady show with HHH last night, below are some of the main points from the interview courtesy of reader Paul Lalli:
Wayne asks how HHH's parents reacted when he said he wanted to be a wrestler. He says they were taken aback, and kept questioning it when he came home beaten up.
HHH tells a story of his Mom crying in the back after a brutal match in MSG, when he was trying to be a tough guy with the rest of the wrestlers.
Wayne asks what HHH's most embarrassing in-ring moment was. HHH tells the story of Al Snow and the thingy-Suplex, as described in Foley's book. He then goes on to tell about the Summer Slam match vs. Shawn Michaels. Apparently at one point, "Single H" became exposed - fortunately when the camera was on a side view.
Wayne asks HHH to teach him the intense stare. They stand face to face. HHH turns his back and 'gets into character.' When he turns back, he has that Neanderthal look to him again. Wayne just falls down. HHH continues to stare.

Undertaker Taking Time Off, Torrie Wilson/WWE, SmackDown!
It is rumored that the Undertaker will be taking some time off after tomorrow's pay-per-view match against the champion, Brock Lesnar. Understandably there are reasons why the Undertaker would like to take some time out of the game, reasons which include spending more time with his pregnant wife, Sara, as well as fully recovering from some nagging injuries that he is suffering from right now. If this does play out, some sort of injury angle is likely to be played out, something that won't be too hard, considering the nature of the match.
WWE Diva, Torrie Wilson is on the cover of the WWE ShopZone Christmas Catalogue.
The media have given WWE SmackDown! a rare pat on the back: Mediaweek.com ran an article on this week's prime-time Thursday TV. A comment of interest was that "UPN deserves a pat on the back thanks to WWE SmackDown!" whose ratings are "still consistent despite the killer competition."

Backstage WWE News: Rey Mysterio, John Cena, & More
The following news is derived and re-written from the Pro Wrestling Torch newsletter.
Tickets for WrestleMania XIX are currently scheduled to go on sale on January 11th on both the official website of WWE, and Ticketmaster.com. Prices for the event have not yet been announced.
For those unaware, Rey Mysterio's "619" semi-finisher used on SmackDown! since his debut was named after the area code in Rey Mysterio's California home town.
More than one WWE wrestler is surprised at how WWE has not taken advantage of John Cena's verbal ability. Those who worked with him in UPW and OVW, and have heard him backstage, say Cena has an unbelieveable promo talent and are curious as to why he hasn't been used on television much lately, and why when he was, his verbal talent wasn't brought out

Update On The Status Of Bret Hart
The following is from the official mailing list of Bret Hart:
It's been awhile.
We've received a whole lot of e-mails asking how Bret is doing in his recovery from the major stroke he suffered on June 24, 2002. I'm happy to be able to tell you that Bret is doing great! He is still working hard in physical therapy five days per week but the exercises he does have progressed to ones that are more difficult and some of his therapy is now outside of the hospital.
We'll soon be bringing you a statement directly from Bret, which we will post on Bret's new official web site brethart.com.
The under construction page should be up within the next few days and within the next week or so we should be able to start posting updates directly from Bret.
We are also trying to make merchandise available to you in time for your December holiday shopping. I'm not sure if that'll be possible but will iron all that out during this coming week. I couldn't make any of this happen any sooner because I was rushed into emergency surgery and am still recovering. I'll spare you the details.
Meanwhile, Bret and I have continued to work on his book. This isn't written in stone but it now looks like his book will actually take the form of three volumes - in which case I am happy to report that the first one is done! In fact, we're about half way through the second one. Like I said, it all still might end up in one book - but if does that would be one heck of a big book!
I'm not sure when Bret will start writing his Calgary Sun columns again and will talk with him about that today. When he does, you'll automatically start receiving them again.
Have a good weekend. Marcy Engelstein Bret Hart's Personal Coordinator

Rosey & Jamal Backstage Heat, WWE To Fire Jeff Hardy?
Partial credit to the Pro Wrestling Torch newsletter for the following.
Rosey and Jamal have quickly earned reputations for not taking care of their opponents when they are in the ring. The first of what was many examples to follow, was when Loony Lane of UPW took a stiff kick from one of the Samoans during the original "Hot Lesbian Action" skit on RAW. If that wasn't bad enough, Jamal's reputation on the Indy scene of being immature and less than passionate for pro wrestling, has followed him to WWE. Many were curious if this was the reason the two weren't featured on RAW during the "roulette special" seeing is how the main-event was a fourway TLC match and they are arguably the only true established tag-team on the RAW roster. In addition to all of that, the two are said to have problems with management over their weight, and are being asked to drop quite a few pounds. The situation didn't get any better this past Monday when Pat Patterson dislocated his shoulder during a segment where he was attacked by Rosey and Jamal.
Jeff Hardy was later arriving at Unforgiven and several RAW and house shows lately. Apparently at Unforgiven, he didn't arrive until the pay-per view was already in progress, six hours later than he was supposed to be there. It was the second time in a week Hardy was late for a WWE event, and due to the fact that it has continued since there, management are punishing him on the air with jobs to the Big Show. He has since started to get fined for his tardiness. Many wouldn't rule out the possibility of WWE releasing Hardy in the near future if such events continue.

Tonights No Mercy, Members Of New 4-Horsmen, & More
The following news and rumors are taken from BlackJack Brown of Chicago Sun-Times:
Do not be surprised to see some former Intercontinental Champions entering the WWE to try and save the extinction of the title they all once held. The Honky Tonk Man, considered one of the best Intercontinental Champions of all time, is one of the names that have been mentioned.
Rosey and Jamal are not scheduled to be in competitive action at tonight’s No Mercy PPV, but do not expect the two island boys to be watching on tonight, many say that both will have a huge impact at tonight’s show.
On a final note, writers have been working of the four horsemen angle, which would not apparently consist of Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista.

Confirmed Return Dates For Sting, Lex Luger, & Scott Steiner
There is a World Wrestling All-Stars advertisement in the UK's "Sunday Times" recently promoting WWA's upcoming tour of the UK, which will take place November 29th through December 7th.
The advertisement promotes Scott Steiner as appearing on the tour, as well as Lex Luger. However, both Steiner and Luger are shown standing behind a big image of Sting with the words, "Sting Returns."
Scott Steiner and Lex Luger working the tour isn't really new to anyone, but there had been rumors that Sting might as well, and one would assume it's a done deal if he's being publicized for the tour.
