WWE Unforgiven Spoiler: Stephanie Performing HLA
Due to the recent controversy over the "hot lesbian action" angle on RAW, and the disapproval from TNN to do such angles on their networks again, it is expected that WWE is going to go ahead and continue the "hot lesbian action" segment for tonight.
WWE went as far as to try and start crowd chants of "HLA", putting up polls on their website asking fans if they wanted more HLA, and even designing a number of different t-shirts with HLA logos.
If that isn't enough, tonight will be Rosie and Jamal's first match, with rumors of Billy & Chuck splitting into singles competition, odds are Rosie and Jamal are walking away victorious. If Rosie and Jamal win, Stephanie McMahon has to perform "hot lesbian action."
Although it isn't confirmed, it is highly likely that Rosie and Jamal will get the nod tonight and Stephanie McMahon will perform "hot lesbian action." The real question isn't "if" it is "with who?"

Backstage WWE News: Paul Heyman/Nidia, Brock Lesnar Face Turn, & More
The following news is from the PWTorch newsletter.
Paul Heyman has taken Nidia "under his wing" recently. He is known to have regular talks with Nidia where he updates her on the direction of her character and gives her pointers on how to portray the character. Co-workers of Nidia says she is taking her push in stride and has shown no signs of developing an ego despite getting regular pushes from management so early in her career.
Writers are considered the idea of turning Brock Lesnar babyface in recent weeks. Basically this is due to the fact that Lesnar gets such amazing face pop reactions at house shows, and most WWE officials are under the impression that if Heyman wasn't at Lesnar's side, fans would generally want to cheer him. Paul Heyman, one of the writers for SmackDown, is obviously against the idea as it would reduce, if not erase, his on-air role as a television character.

WWE Unforgiven News/Notes: HBK's Return Tonight, & More
Tickets for tonight's WWE Unforgiven PPV are still on sale, but there are only about a thousand left. The arena should be sold out by the time the PPV starts.
HBK Shawn Michaels is in the California area today doing an autograph signing. This could be a very good sign that HBK will either make an appearance on tonight's PPV or at the least be backstage.
Maven is expected to be able to resume light in ring work outs in about three weeks. He will be sent to OVW before eventually returning to WWE television.

Unforgiven, HLA's Future, Backstage RAW News & Notes
Many feel that although Smackdown is getting the better feedback, the WWE booking team is cautious to transform RAW from an entertainment show into more of a wrestling show. Being that WWE fans have been watching RAW for so long in search of entertainment, WWE officials are not so sure as to how fans would react to a show that involved more in-ring, technical wrestling in that timeslot.
As all WWE viewers have noticed, HLA is not a done-deal for WWE. It may not last too much longer, but WWE certainly has pushed it somewhat and will continue pushing similar angles on TV. For instance, tonight's Unforgiven could be stocked with some HLA, if Billy and Chuck lose to Rosie and Jamal.

Latest On Scott Steiner Coming To WWE
The following news is from the PWTorch newsletter.
Despite what Scott Steiner has mentioned, and some WWE represenatives, Steiner apparently did not pass physicals given to him to take by WWE officials.
WWE is currently not interested in Steiner due to his health and other concerns. Steiner wants to work for WWE, and has gone as far as to send out words on negotiations between himself and WWE in hopes of it becoming a self-fulfilling prophesy.
Scott Steiner is eager to work for WWE now more than before due to a falling out with the Jarrett family before the launch of NWA-TNA, and Andrew McManus haulting tours for his World Wrestling All-Stars group.

WWE Dates, News on Hogan/Ultimate Warrior, & More
- There was an article in the Norfolk newspaper that when WWE returns to the city on 12/13, they will be moving to the Constant Convocation Center at Old Dominion University and away from the famed Scope Arena. The newer arena seats 8,600, making it smaller, which coincides with WWE's inability to fill major arenas for most shows.
- A repeat of the Larry King segment with Jesse Ventura will appear on King's taped weekend show at 9 p.m. Eastern tonight
- At last night's Reds-Phillies game in Cincinnati, they played both Hogan and Ultimate Warriors early 90s 'WWF' theme music.

New Match Added For Tonight, Jericho's Title, RAW/OVW
For those not watching Heat, the Rey Mysterio v. Chavo match that we've been reporting for the past few days will indeed occur later in the Heat telecast. Keep checking back at this website for the results.
In two interesting pieces of information, the Jericho v. Flair match promo has a noticeable error in it. Unlike other stars who posed with their title, Jericho's IC belt is clearly edited right onto his shoulder. This shows that WWE is not a perfectionist when it comes to preparing the promotional pieces. Additionally, TNN now advertises CSI for 11:05 PM EST on Mondays to make up for the RAW overrun. RAW is allotted up to about eight minutes after eleven to finish the broadcast, so TNN is telling CSI fans that the shows will not start exactly at eleven.
OVW television tapings will resume this Wednesday. They have had quite a few breaks in the past few weeks; the most recent being that their building needed some changes due to local ordinances.

Latest News On The WWE Status Of Eric Angle
The following are highlights of an article at WWE.com:
For those who remember, Eric Angle, Kurt Angle's brother, tore his right triceps on May 11, 2001. This came shortly after he signed a WWE developmental contract for Ohio Valley Wrestling.
Eric Angle was supposed to only need six weeks of recovery time. However, it ended up taking him a year and a half, along with nine surgeries to get back in OVW, when he returned on 9/6/2002.
Eric feels that the doctor he initially saw ended up prolonging his recovery time. Had he gone to Dr. James Andrews, Angle feels he would have been back twice as quickly. He knows this because when he eventually did see Andrews, he finally began making progress.
Although Eric cannot safely say he will be more successful than Kurt Angle, he knows that if his brother can make it to the top, so can he.

News On Crash Holly's RAW Defection, Best Smackdown Ring Announcer
The following is from WWE.com:
LOS ANGELES – Sept. 22, 2002 – Crash Holly usually has a noticeable smirk on his face. He generally talks with his tongue planted firmly in his cheek.
WWE.com asked Crash if he was happy to have moved to SmackDown! from RAW, and he said he was. And we think he was serious.
“The greatest part is that I’m away from that Steven Richards,” he said. “My back’s feeling better since I stopped riding with him.
“And put this in there too: I’ve been trying to get my body butter back. He stole it from me.”
In a somewhat more serious moment, perhaps, Crash said he’s been happy with the matches he’s had since he joined the SmackDown! crew a few weeks ago.
“I don’t mind (being on SmackDown!),” he said. “Whatever they want to use me for, wherever I can contribute …”
Crash said he’s getting along with everyone on the SmackDown! crew, and then his customary smirk returned and he added, “Everybody’s cool, except Funaki. I think I need to have a five-year feud with Funaki. That’s the only way to settle this score. See, I announced on HEAT a few weeks ago, and I think I’m the No. 1 announcer. There’s going to be a long, physical series of matches. I ran Taka out of here, now I’m going to do the same to Funaki.”
