HBK On RAW Tonight, Hulk Hogan's TV Return, & More
Hulk Hogan's 10-10-220 commercial with Alf, that I mentioned a while back, has actually started airing on television already. It was shown during ESPN's "NFL Prime Time" show last night.
Stephanie McMahon will be answering fan questions in the MSN.com chat room this coming Thursday, November 14th at 7:00PM Eastern Time. You would have to consider Stephanie brave for taking something on at a time where questions won't be so easy on her.
Latest word is Shawn Michaels will be on RAW in some form tonight. Most likely live in the arena to accept the offer from Eric Bischoff last week and continue the hype for the Elimination Chamber match leading into Survivor Series.

Kevin Nash To Return To WWE With Diesel Gimmick, more
The following news is derived and re-written from the Torch Newsletter:
Part of the reason WWE management were so adament about Test changing his leathar pants to silver-spandex shorts was so his look wouldn't conflict with Kevin Nash.
There is an idea being tossed around at production meetings to bring back Nash with the Diesel gimmick. If that were to occur, which it isn't confirmed by any means, Nash would likely use his real name, but portray the Diesel gimmick. This is also part of the reason why WWE wanted Test to cut his hair, which he eventually did, but not nearly as short as they had hoped for.
The main reason for the changes were to "fit-in" with the UnAmericans look, as McMahon has always been in favor of teams with similar looks and styles, but Nash was definitely a part of the controversy as well.

As soon as more is available on the above story, it will be reported right here. -- And finally, in an update to a post I made about Terri Runnels’ nipple being evident on one of the pictures they recently posted during the new photo shoot, WWE Divas Undressed. Even after emailing them to inform them about this mistake, it seems they have made no attempt to rectify it, leading me to believe that it was not a mistake at all, and rather was a means to attract attention to a photo shoot which could’ve been a major flop. To see the photo’s, go to divasundressed.wwe.com. The picture that this newbit is pertaining to, is picture number 5 on Terri’s gallery.

Austin Possibly Returning Soon, New WWE Talent Debuting
The latest I am hearing is that both Spanky and Little Guido have fulfilled their committments when it comes to other promotions, so are all set for a WWE debut. The plan is for them to be on Smackdown, so it really is a matter of Paul Heyman writing them into the show before we get to see them weekly. Rumor has it that the debut could be soon, although there is no definite date set.
There have still been no advances when it comes to Steve Austin returning to WWE. Steve Austin has made it clear that he wants to settle his legal and personal problems before considering a WWE return, but many feel that the chances of a return soon are as high as they'll ever be due to the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania PPVs around the corner. Vince McMahon absolutely does not want either of those major WWE shows to fail, so will welcome Austin back with open arms at this time, should Austin wish to make a return.

More on the Elimination Chamber, 2 Rings, Structure, & More
- More on the Elimination Chamber match has come in. From what I'm being told, The match will be a free for all with the 6 superstars, consisting of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Kane, Booker T, and Rob Van Dam.
The special cage is about 20 feet high, 30 feet in length, With different parts to it. There may be two separate rings involved, with the rings being propped up an extra few feet higher then usual. The last man standing Royal Rumble rule will be enforced to determine a winner. If you remember what the cage looked like for WCW War Games then you'll have a pretty good idea of the look.
However, most of this is not all 100% confirmed but looks to be pretty exact. Eric Bischoff is set to announce more on the Elimination Chamber tonight on Raw.

Chris Jericho Speaks On Survivor Series
The following recap was written by George Farmer of NoHoldsBarredWrestling.com.
Y2J opened with talk of his band Fozzy. A video is soon in the works and the WWE will air it and it also has interest from MTV. He gets to play about once a month because of his busy wrestling schedule. The band doesn't mind his schedule due to the publicity Y2J being in the WWE brings the band.
Y2J said his debut in Chicago was a highlight of his career. His going back and forth with the Rock immediately gave him heat. When asked about the current state of the business, he said he wants to see more classic wrestling. He said the HLA angle bothered him more than the necrophilia storyline. He said HLA probably would not resurface.
Y2J claimed Smackdown is the better show right now because it displays a solid wrestling foundation. He put over the work of Benoit, Angle, Edge and Eddie Guerrero. He is looking forward to the Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series. He said Eric Bischoff is doing a solid job on Raw, but in WCW, he didn't respect Bischoff because he didn't respect his wrestling ability.
The quote of the night came when Y2J responded to Larry Zbyszko saying Y2J was not a living legend. Jericho said if Larry could be a living legend, he definitely could because he has always been better than him and he doesn't care what Larry says. He is looking forward to the arrival of Steiner. He said if he lands on Raw, he should be a face and if he hits the Smackdown roster, he would be a great heel.

Huge Details On Why Hogan May Not Return To WWE
As we've been reporting for the last few days, word has been running rampant that Hogan is as close to finished with WWE as possible. However, more details have come in.
Apparently, Vince McMahon wanted to have Hogan return to resurrect his feud with Brock Lesnar this month, leading to a rematch at Survivor Series. It shouldn't come as a surprise that Vince's plan was for Lesnar to win the match, as Lesnar is the rising star for WWE and could not afford to lose his title to Hogan. Hogan did not go for that plan, as he was hoping that he'd beat Lesnar and carry the belt for a final run. WWE did not want to go with that idea, as it would totally crush Lesnar as a star.
This adds to the fact that Hogan was a little uneasy about having to put over Vince McMahon in his upcoming book, as he had hoped to heavily promote it on WWE TV. Although Hogan could still work out a deal to do such a thing, it now seems extremely unlikely. Hogan has been speaking to All Japan Pro Wrestling about working some shows at the end of this month, adding to the fact that Hogan's future with WWE, at least for the time being, looks to be over.

Scott Steiner/RAW, Hogan Update, Sakuraba, more
According to the Ottawa Sun, Scott Steiner was backstage at last week's RAW in Detroit, Michigan, despite Jim Ross claiming he was not at the show.
Hulk Hogan shot a local commercial in Tampa promoting Brian Blair's campaign for political office. Basically, Hogan rips off someones shirt that reveals a "Vote For Blair" decal on the t-shirt.
According to our friends over at MMAWeekly.com, Kazushi Sakuraba is likely for the PRIDE 23 pay-per view on November 24th. Although numerous reports indicate Sakuraba's eye injury is nowhere near healed, his mentor, Takada, is retiring so he wants to fight at the show in honor of him. Sakuraba has been sparring, and his stamina is not the issue, but he complained of sight-problems which could really be a determining factor as the show gets closer. The basic feeling among many is that if Sakuraba were to take the fight with bad vision, he could take a bad punch or kick that could end his career and possibly cause him to suffer permanent damage in some capacity. To keep up to date on the Sakuraba/PRIDE 23 story, and all of the latest MMA news, head over to MMAWeekly.com.

Trish/Lilian Backstage Talk, WWE Special On UPN, more
After RAW last night, a ten-match tag match featuring 3 Minute Warning, Triple H, Chris Jericho, & Christian vs. Booker T, Kane, Bubba Ray, Rob Van Dam, and Jeff Hardy took place. It wasn't there just to please the live crowd, but was taped to air during a pre-Survivor Series special on UPN that will feature that match combined with a match from the SmackDown! brand likely to be taped tonight. The UPN special is expected to air next week, possibly on Wednesday, but that isn't confirmed yet.
Lilian Garcia and Trish Stratus are said to be friendly with each other backstage at WWE events. Lilian is said to be outspoken when she feels Trish is taking too many bumps during a match or segment. Lilian Garcia is married, and Trish Stratus is said to be seriously involved with someone, but not engaged according to a report on her official website.

Update On Brutus Beefcake Being Arrested Yesterday
Source: Individual Research, Ryan Smith of TheHonkyTonkMan.como
-- Yesterday I posted a news article submitted to me by Mr. Christopher Yandek (one of Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts’ employee’s), about the possible arrest of Ed ‘Brutus Beefcake’ Leslie.
-- However, this morning I was informed by Mr. Ryan Smith of TheHonkyTonkMan.com that the information Mr. Yandek passed to me was incorrect. So, before denouncing the article as false, I did some of my own research.
-- Around 15 minutes ago I got in contact with the Press Office over at Gatwick Airport, London. This was the airport in question when reported that Leslie was arrested. After being put on hold for a short amount of time, I was informed that they are not at liberty to comment on the issue, and that it was a police issue.
I was also informed that the local Police would not comment on the "case" either, and that I should contact Mr. Leslie about the query. Since this is not possible, this is where my personal research has ended.
-- As soon as any form of retraction or statement is made by anybody involved in the issue (Jake Roberts, Ed Leslie, Wayne ‘Honky Tonk Man’ Ferris or Mr. Yandek), it will be posted right here.

Brock Lesnar's Ego, 4-Horsemen Return, Batista, more
The following news is derived and re-written from the Torch Newsletter:
Many wrestlers on the SmackDown! roster are claiming Brock Lesnar is starting to develop pretty serious ego issues. Some argue that it's jealousy over his instant push, while others feel it's a legitimate claim. Basically, Lesnar is giving off the impression that he's better than everyone because he's a "real" wrestler, and that he's well aware that the company is relying on him to take them through the next generation.
We've been reporting the rumor making rounds in WWE that a possible new Four Horsemen stable is going to return on the RAW roster with Ric Flair, Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton. A lot of wrestlers are under the impression that Triple H is pushing for the idea simply because he's well aware that Randy Orton and Batista are in the midst of huge pushes. Another concern among many is that the four would be the only heels on RAW who are going have any heat on them.

WWE UPN Special: Date & Time Now Confirmed
As an update to the story that we broke as RAW was going on, WWE will be airing a special on UPN next week. Being that Survivor Series is one week from Sunday, WWE obviously is looking for all the promotion they can get, and a UPN special would certainly help.
A big tag match was taped last night after RAW, which will air on the special. Additionally, as we reported earlier, it is now just about definite that a match will be taped tonight at the Smackdown tapings that will air during the show.
The show will air next Tuesday at 9 PM, taking the place of "Haunted", which is not doing the ratings UPN anticipated. Be sure to hit this website later tonight, as the Smackdown taping results and the match for the special will be posted as they come in from New Hampshire.

WWE Edits Terri's Nipple, Rikishi Knocked Out, more -- The infamous Terri nipple that WWE 'accidentaly' put up on their website as part of a photoshoot colage has finally been air-brushed out. It sounds hilarious, but it at first seemed that the WWE intended the nipple to be there. Even after emailing them to inform them about this mistake, they made no attempt to rectify it, leading me to believe that it was not a mistake at all, and rather was a means to attract attention to a photo shoot which could’ve been a major flop. The infamous picture is located at divasundressed.wwe.com (picture #5 in Terri's gallery). It appears that WWE rectified this situation only after reading newsboards throughout the internet. It's possible that this was all a major scheme to get hits to their website. If it did indeed work, the WWE should consider shifting some of the WWE.com staff to work as writers for the sagging TV programming. -- Two former WWE superstars are confirmed to work the GWF Aftermath show, which is upcoming. For more information, such as ticket prices, a full card, and dates/locations of the event, email farrerpromotions@aol.com. -- Rikishi was legitimately knocked out during his "I disagree" match with Albert on Monday (4th November) evening. The match, which was scheduled to run the same as the match they worked at Rebellion, the UK only Pay Per View, was ended prematurely when a Pump kick from Albert caught him on the bridge of the nose and knocked him out cold temporarily. Trainers came to the ring after the match and the "aftermath" of the match took place with Rikishi delivering a stinkface. He will, undoubtedly, miss no in-ring time.

AJ Styles Speaks On Russo/TNA, Turning Down WWE, & More
Current X-Division champion of NWA-TNA, AJ Styles, recently did an interview with journalist Matt Boone. AJ Styles had plenty to talk about, including plans for his appearance on NWA-TNA tonight (nwatna.com).
AJ Styles starts things off by discussing what he thinks of Crash Holly stealing his "Styles Clash" finishing move and calling it the "Crash Landing." AJ said he expected someone would steal it eventually after seeing the crowd's reaction to it upon using it the first few times.
From there, AJ talks about the situation with Vince Russo possibly parting ways with NWA-TNA after the new financial backer "Panda Energy" invested in the promotion (which he also talks about - what changes will be made as a result, etc.)
After that, AJ talked about his style of wrestling, and the general style used in the X-Division in NWA-TNA. When asked if working that style is somewhat of career-killer, AJ said it's mostly illusion and as far as he goes, he does enough to get the crowd involved, but tries not to rely on flying around like many expect from X-Division action.
AJ Styles also talked about turning down an offer from WWE to be part of their developmental territory several months ago. Quite frankly, AJ was flattered by the offer, but there wasn't enough money involved for he and his wife (who is in college) to move to Louisville.
AJ also touched on topics of what his future goals are. Does he want to make it with the company currently holding a monopoly over the pro wrestling world, WWE, or does he want to be a building block in creating a new WCW-like competitor to try and reach the level of World Wrestling Entertainment?
Where does NWA-TNA rank on AJ Styles' list of priorities? Does he consider them the top dog, or does he prefer Ring of Honor and other Independant promotions? Well, much like Ron "The Truth" Killings told me in our interview a few weeks ago, AJ considers NWA-TNA top priority and always does his best to give the fans their money's worth when he is in the ring.
You can download the full audio version of the AJ Styles interview (approximately 3 megabytes, Real Media format) by simply clicking here!
My next interview will be with WWE Confidential host, and the voice of wrestling for the past several years, "Mean" Gene Okerlund. If any of the ProWrestling.com visitors out there have any questions you'd like me to ask "Mean" Gene for you, simply click here to email me.
