WWE/False Advertisement, Fans Outraged at House Shows
- I reported an earlier story about WWE.com taking off all the event cards for house shows. More on the story has come in.
The main reason WWE decided to take down the posting of the house show cards was due to false advertisement. Over the last few years there have been many complaints with fans wanting their money back at house shows, mostly because their favorite wrestler wasn't on the show as was posted either before the live event or on WWE.com.
I guess WWE just got fed up with people asking for their money back and what not. Don't look to find house Show event cards up from now on.

Lesnar Challenges Japanese Talent, Angle/WWE News
At this weekend's Kurt Angle Classic, Brock Lesnar and Yuji Nagata made friendly challenges to each other. Being that Lesnar is WWE Champion and Nagata is IWGP Heavyweight, it made for great press in the Japanese media.
Many close to the situation, however, say it was simply a publicity stunt, and not very likely to happen. WWE is very restrictive when it comes to interpromotional matches, so do not count on seeing a Lesnar/Nagata match.
In another update from the Kurt Angle Classic, both Angle and Nagata met and agreed that WWE should do some work with Japan.

500th RAW, Hogan/Austin, Dreamer At Non-WWE Show, more
WWE will be having their 500th episode of Monday Night RAW on December 16. It's interesting to note that while RAW will surpass 500 shows in December, RAW tonight is up against the 500th edition of Monday Night Football.
Tommy Dreamer attended Ring of Honor's show in Philidelphia this past weekend. He didn't get involved in any match, but was permitted by WWE to be there. Despite what others claim, WWE didn't send Dreamer to the show to make up for Spanky pulling from the show due to his new WWE deal.
StoneCold.com, the official website for Steve Austin, no longer exsists. If you go to that domain, you will be re-directed to the main WWE website. Same goes for Hulk Hogan's official website, RedandYellow.com. Also, all WWF.com domain names no longer forward you to WWE.com.

Chyna & X-Pac Dating, Jeff Hardy/WWE Update, more
The following news is derived and re-written from the Torch Newsletter.
According to Matt Hardy on WWE.com's audio program, Byte This!, his brother Jeff doesn't have the same passion for wrestling as he does. Matt feels Jeff has started to really take to his music career, and doesn't have that same "must have" passion for wrestling like he does. Matt said that Jeff has started to really enjoy his musical career and poetry, and isn't as content as Matt is with having just wrestling. Apparently, Jeff Hardy's passion for wrestling has diminished over the last two years, while his passion for his music is increasing as each day passes.
Rumors are circulating that former WWE diva Joanie "Chyna" Laurer is dating former WWE superstar, current NWA-TNA talent, Sean "Syxx-Pac" Waltman. Many claim since the two met negotiating booking appearances for Japan wrestling promotions, they have been talking with each other regularly. Waltman and Laurer with both close friends back during their time together as Dengeration-X members in the then WWF in the mid-90s.

Brock Lesnar's Face Turn, Update On The Rock, & More
There is discussion of having Paul Heyman turn on Brock Lesnar during his match at Survivor Series against the Big Show. This is obviously a plan to further the babyface push Lesnar has been receiving in recent weeks. However, some say Vince McMahon has become gun-shy about making the turn so quickly in his career. Many, including Heyman, are pushing for McMahon to change his mind about the babyface turn.
Thanks to Darren Wilson for sending along the following:
If you're a subscriber to Adelphia Cable TV, you're in for a treat this month. November 18. you can order "The Mummy" and "The Scorpion King" on PPV for a great price of $4.95. Steve Austin To Return To WWE Within Three Months
Over the past several weeks, rumors have once again popped up about the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin to WWE. I have done some research on the subject and this is the latest.
Sources close to Steve Austin himself are claiming that Austin definitely misses the wrestling business as a whole but there are situations in his life right now that need to be addressed before talks can begin.
As many of you know, Austin had a dispute with his wife Debra which has now lead to all kinds of court cases. Obviously, Austin will not be sent to jail or anything to that extreme once the sentence is handed down, but will likely just get probation.
Once the personal problems are addressed, Steve and WWE can and will talk again. There have been talks already, not with Austin and McMahon directly, but between outside people.
From what various sources are saying, one of the two sides will likely call each other and eventually resolve their problems. As I stated the other day, with Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 19, many feel that McMahon will be calling Austin fairly soon, or more likely after his personal problems have settled down.

Steiner/WWA Deal, Sting's Return, Nathan Jones/Godfather
WorldWrestlingAllStars.com, the official site of WWA, issued the following release:
Robert Finlay, WWA's Operations Manager, today confirmed that 'The Godfather' and 'Perry Saturn' will be joining the WWA tour of Europe in November and December.
"Andrew (McManus)has been in negotiations all week and has been able to secure 'The Godfather' & 'Perry Saturn' for the upcoming tour of Europe. These additions add to the already huge lineup which includes 'Sting' & 'Lex Luger' visiting Europe later this month" he added.
Additionally, Nathan Jones, who is also currently working with WWE, is still on the confirmed list for the tour (which still could end up changing).
The list includes all of the aforementioned wrestlers, plus Midajah, Buff Bagwell, Sabu, Norman Smiley, Disco Inferno, The Wall, John E Legend, Mike Sanders, Konnan, and many more.

Rob Van Dam Pulls a Prank on a Friend, On TV, & More
- Last night I was channel-surfing and I came upon a TNN show called "Ultimate Revenge", hosted by "American Idol" goofball Ryan Seacrest. It's a prank show and last night featured Rob Van Dam and his wife Sonya getting "revenge" on their friend Justin McCully. RVD was treated as a big star and McCully was passed off like a nobody, but of course he's the shootfighter who's been dabbling in wrestling and has recently teamed with Joanie Lauer in NJPW.
McCully's fiancé was also in on the prank. They all complained that McCully was a male chauvinist and was overly competitive so they had to teach him a lesson. A fake game show pilot was set up in which RVD and Sonya competed against McCully and his fiance.
The fake game show was called something like "Do It...Or Else". The first stunt had the guys spinning pizza pies while the women tried to catch them on a plate. McCully's fiancé purposely threw the competition. McCully's punishment for losing was having to kiss a rat.
The second stunt had RVD and McCully trying to spin as many plates as they could on poles for 30 seconds. RVD was trained beforehand and McCully obviously wasn't. Even with the training, RVD was horrible and only managed to get 1 plate spinning. But McCully had no clue what he was doing so he still lost. McCully then had to put his face in a tank full of worms for 10 seconds (the prank would've backfired big time if RVD hadn't gotten that 1 plate to spin).
Final stunt had McCully blindfolded and he had to kiss 3 women through a hole in a door and guess which one was his fiance. He picked the woman behind door #2 and was right, but it was obviously rigged so that he would guess wrong. His mother came out and pretended that he had picked her.
Ryan Seacrest then came out to let McCully in on the joke. RVD says it wouldn't have mattered if the game show was rigged or not because "no one beats RVD".

RAW Mistakes, Super Tuesday Update, Stern/WWE, & More
The Score in Canada will not be airing the WWE special Super Tuesday that was hyped up all night during RAW. So, unless Canadians have access to an American UPN affiliate, they will not be able to see the show.
Howard Stern was talking about WWE during his radio show this morning. He said the reason WWE is going down the toilet in numbers is because Rock is making movies, Austin left the company, and HHH is old news. He refused to call the company WWE, and said that WWX would have been a better name to go with.
Jim Ross made a pretty big mistake during his announcing on last night's RAW. During the Jeff Hardy/Bubba Ray vs. William Regal/Lance Storm match, JR commented on Regal and Storm carrying their countries flags by saying he didn't want to see other countries flags on Veteran's Day. Well, while it was Veteran's Day in the U.S., it was Armistice Day in other countries, including England. In Canada, it was Remembrance Day.

Precise Details On Scott Steiner's WWE Contract
The following news is derived and re-written from the Torch Newsletter.
Scott Steiner's WWE contract has a maximum of 14 dates per month. This means Scott Steiner will have four weekly television shows, one pay-per view, and nine house show dates per month. He will have a few weekends off from house show if he sticks to his exact schedule.
According to many in WWE, date limits aren't always followed according to the contract, so Steiner could be working more or less depending on WWE's interest.
In the situation that an injury occurs, Steiner does have a generous downside guarantee. WWE was gun-shy to negotiate another high-dollar downside guarantee to someone over 40 years old and with a history of being very injury prone. However, when push came to shove, Steiner apparently received what he was looking for.
Steiner is expected to debut at Survivor Series and start a program with Triple H on the RAW roster shortly thereafter.

Steve Austin's WWE Return, Scott Steiner's Debut Plans, more
As of this writing, the current working plan is to debut Scott Steiner on the Survivor Series pay-per view this coming Sunday. He is also scheduled for television next week, whether it's for both RAW and SmackDown! continuing the storyline of who he will side with, or just one of them if the decision is announced on the pay-per view.
Currently, there's a good chance that Steiner will end up on the SmackDown! side due to Brock Lesnar seemingly turning babyface in recent weeks. Also, many are under the impression that Steve Austin could be back within the next month or two.
This would leave the heel champion Triple H to feud with the returning babyface Steve Austin on the RAW side. On the SmackDown! side, there would be the returning heel Scott Steiner to feud with the babyface champion Brock Lesnar. It should be noted that this is strictly rumored at this point.

Brock Lesnar Injured, Goldberg's Return, Maven, & More
Keji Muto announced that Goldberg will be wrestling this Sunday for W-1 at Yokohama. Those close to Goldberg claim it's only a possibility at this point, and is not confirmed yet. Goldberg apparently wants to get Rick Steiner involved in the show as well, but it's doubtful.
The Joanie "Chyna" Laurer segment that was taped for "The Best d**n Sports Show Period" will air on Thursday night on FOX Sports Net. Laurer basically reviews some video footage of her work against Masahiro Chono in Japan.
The Super Tuesday WWE show has been moved from 5:00pm on Sunday, to 9:00pm on Sunday. This basically means that those in Detroit have to choose to order Survivor Series, or watch a taped show which purpose is to promote Survivor Series.
Brock Lesnar suffered a cracked rib at last Saturday's WWE house show in Champaign, Illinois. Lesnar's rib injury is why they didn't do Lesnar/Big Show main-event matches at the last two house shows. No word on whether or not the injury will keep Lesnar from having a match on tonight's SmackDown! tapings, but it seems to be a possibility at this point. As of this writing, Lesnar is going to compete at Survivor Series despite the injury.

WWE Injury Update: Ivory Seriously Hurt, Lesnar, more
We reported earlier that a plastic sugeron was called to the arena during last night's RAW. Apparently, Ivory was the diva that was in need of a plastic surgeon. Ivory suffered a lip injuy last night and from all accounts it seems to be a pretty serious injury.
Despite what others claim, Justin Credible was not injured during his match taped for Heat last night. During his bout with Tommy Dreamer, Credible took a nasty bump that resulted in the match ending abruptly. Apparently, Credible was not seriously hurt.
We reported just a few minutes ago that Brock Lesnar suffered a cracked rib during a house show this past Saturday night. It seems as if systems are all go and the plan is for Lesnar to work the match at Survivor Series despite the injury.

The Undertaker Backstage At WWE SmackDown! Tapings
For those wondering, yes, The Undertaker is backstage at the SmackDown! tapings right now and from what I am being told, will make a return tonight.
Early last week, The Undertaker's wife, Sara. gave birth to a healthy baby. It was expected that 'Taker would be out of action for several months to rehab an injury and spend time with his wife and new born child, but that appears not to be the case
