- Believe it or not, there is currently quite a bit of heat between Shane McMahon and his father, Vince.
Vince McMahon is reportedly becoming very paranoid that WWE officials are pushing for Stephanie and Shane to take control of the company. This frustrates Vince, as he is not ready to hand over full control to his children.
The heat, however, is greater between Vince and Shane, as he's been taking out his aggression and frustration on Shane, which is causing some bad blood between the two. As best as we can tell, however, this is not the reason Shane McMahon is not on television; at least not the main/only reason.
