Steve Austin's Return On RAW, Rock Turning Heel, & More
There was a lot of consideration of having The Rock appear on RAW the night after SummerSlam in Madison Square Garden. After much debate, the decision was to keep Rock off of the show due to several factors. Mainly, the decision was made out of fear from Vince McMahon and The Rock as they were worried that the New York crowd would boo The Rock much like a crowd in Long Island did for SummerSlam during Rock's match with Brock Lesnar. Rock and Vince McMahon both felt that it was one thing for Rock to be a heel on a pay-per view, but their television shows are viewed by millions which would have hurt Rock's Hollywood reputation of being incredibly popular with a wrestling audience. Apparently Rock personally didn't mind being boo'd but was worried how non-wrestling viewers, namely Hollywood represenatives, would take it due to their lack of knowledge for how the wrestling business functions.
According to the Zap2It RAW preview, which I reported earlier, Eric Bischoff will somehow "shock the world again" this coming Monday night. Rumors are already running rampant of a Steve Austin return, and oddly enough RAW being transformed into Nitro. No word has come in on Austin's status with WWE, but last I heard things haven't progressed at all. As far as RAW turning into Nitro goes, that is probably the least likely thing to happen at this point, or anytime in the forseeable future for that matter.

The Rock Off Smackdown, Steph/Lesbians, Billy & Chuck
Phil Mushnick of the NY Post, known for his rants on WWE and its product, now has his latest column online. The subject of his ranting is the Billy/Chuck angle and he has a very negative look on what WWE did, saying that the angle was very hateful and vulgar, yet made the "kids" at home very entertained.
The word from UK fans is that the Island Boys' attack of Stephanie McMahon was not edited from the telecast despite the broadcaster editing the attack on the 'lesbians'. It is not known why only one of the attacks was edited, but it is an interesting note.
The Rock, who is currently on a hiatus from WWE, will not be featured on the cover art for the upcoming "Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth" video game. Although The Rock (and Austin) are featured in the game, the cover is headlined by HHH, Lesnar, Angle, Jericho, and Booker T.

Molly Holly Unhappy With HLA/Lawler, Malice To WWE, More
The word going around is that the WWE are interested in signing NWA-TNA talent, Malice.
It looks like more 'Hot Lesbian Action!' is on the cards for future WWE programming. The WWE are apparently in the process of constructing Hot Lesbian Action shirts.
Speaking of Hot Lesbian Action, nearly everyone who watched the show picked up on Jerry Lawler's constant 'HLA!', 'HLA!' references throughout the program. It seems that WWE Diva, Molly Holly, was not all too happy with this, and below is what she said on Byte This! about the matter:
"It is the most disturbing and annoying thing to be out there working hard, almost getting killed in the ring, and then to be ignored, just not be appreciated," retorts Molly.

Chris Benoit Turning Babyface, HHH's Next Feud, & More
Although it isn't WWE's intentions, Chris Benoit will likely become a babyface due to his current program with Kurt Angle. WWE wasn't planning on turning Benoit babyface, but due to crowd reaction, it's seemingly impossible for Benoit to become anything but that with fans almost always making Angle the heel no matter who he is working with. Further proof to this would be de-aligning Eddie Guerrero from Benoit, pairing him up with his nephew Chavo Guerrero Jr.
WWE are in the midst of planning a future feud between Triple H and Bubba Ray Dudley. The plan is still for Triple H to defend his RAW heavyweight championship in a singles match against Rob Van Dam at Unforgiven. However, they are slowly building to a feud with Bubba Ray Dudley for the future.

Undertakers Wife Sara Involved in Story Line/SmackDown!
- We've gotten several emails asking if the Undertakers wife, Sara, will be making some on screen appearances to hype the Undertaker/Lesnar match for Unforgiven. Although it's been talked about many times in different posts and what not, we are not quite sure yet. However, there is a good chance that she may do a story line involving her unborn child leading into Unforgiven. Right now the WWE is not sure they want to get into such an angle when Unforgiven in only a mere 7 days away, and it would be a very pitiful storyline if it starts 3 days before the event. It's kind of late now to bring her in but, if that was the case, She would start this Thursday on SmackDown!.
- This coming Tuesday, Bradshaw and Christopher Nowinski will be appearing at 11 a.m. at the Universal Lending City Lights Pavilion on behalf of the SmackDown! Your Vote! Pledge to Participate Tour. Attendees can register to vote, sign a replica of the Constitution, and pledge to participate in their communities. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
