The following articles come from www.prowrestling.com unless otherwise stated. I would just like to give Credit to them. The following is from WWE.com: Catch RAW Monday night at 9 p.m./8 CT on the new TNN! Last week on RAW, we saw Monday night get its own World Heavyweight Champion when Triple H was awarded the prize by General Manager Eric Bischoff. After the announcement, Triple H went on to defeat Ric Flair in his first title defense. The Game was less lucky later on in the evening, however, when Rob Van Dam pinned the Champion in a tag team encounter. The last thing viewers saw as RAW went off the air was RVD holding both his Intercontinental Championship and Triple H's World Heavyweight Championship. No doubt, this didn't sit well with Triple H. What will happen this Monday night on RAW when the two superstars are under the same roof again? Unquestionably, The Game will be looking for RVD. Find out what happens on RAW. All this and much more live on RAW beginning at 9/8 CT!

Thanks to Mari for sending the following:
- I was channel surfing the other day when I stopped on The Food Network. There's a show on there called Nigella Bites, a British cooking show. Anyway, its host Nigella was talking about some of the many cookbooks she owned, when she whipped out a copy of the "WWE’s Can You Take The Heat?" She said that her two favorite recipes from this book were Trish Stratus' Kebabs and The Rock's Chocolate Chip Cookies. She said that the reason she liked the cookies was due to the serving yield, namely 4 to 5 batches. I guess the WWE is everywhere, I was just a little stunned to find them on The Food Network.
- Kurt Angle has begun promoting the "The Kurt Angle Classic" which is a freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling event that will take place at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from November 8-10. The event is being named after Angle in his honor and in hopes that it will raise visibility of amateur wrestling. For more information on the event, head to ShowofStrength.com. Tickets for the event are available at Ticketmaster.com.
- A late happy birthday goes out to Raven (Scott Levy), who turned a shocking 38 yesterday.

Stephanie McMahon Comments On WWE's Gay Wedding
The following is an article from PageSix.com:
IT won't be your normal Thursday night "Smackdown" this week. The popular wrestling series will feature the first-ever televised gay wedding between two male wrestlers.
World champion tag-team partners, Billy and Chuck, will tie the knot, say World Wrestling Entertainment officials, who confess the wedding is more over-the-top than from the heart.
"It's a same-sex wedding or - as the gay and lesbian community would call it - a commitment ceremony on our season premier edition of 'Smackdown,' " confirmed Stephanie McMahon, World Wrestling Entertainment's creative television director.
"The issue is certainly topical," McMahon said, citing the New York Times' recent decision to list same-sex wedding announcements and a slew of similarly themed TV programs, including a new reality series on cable's Bravo channel called "Gay Weddings."
Billy and Chuck have been different from a slew of other pro-wrestlers of the past, ranging from "Gorgeous" George Wagner in the 1940s and "Adorable" Adrian Adonis in the 1970s who played with gender roles by donning wigs and dresses - and usually lost to more popular wrestlers.
Billy and Chuck, on the other hand, were world champions for at least five months this past year and dress in more simple hot pants and white robes. Fans have been left guessing if their relationship is more than merely professional.
Gay-rights groups, which protested against at least three gay-seeming wrestlers during the 1990s, appear to like Billy and Chuck.
Scott Seomin, a spokesman for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance against Defamation, told a reporter they are an improvement on their predecessors.
"What we like to do in our genre is bring in issues that are out there in society that are topical and bring them into our story-lines," said McMahon, the daughter of World Wrestling chiefs Vince and Linda McMahon.
Like much of everything else on WW, the Billy and Chuck story is made up though - neither wrestler (Chuck Palumbo and Monty Sopp) is gay in real life.
But McMahon says that shouldn't have a negative effect on the storyline, since there are many heterosexual actors who play gay characters on TV.
"We're entertainment," she said. "When watch 'Six Feet Under' on HBO and one of the gay characters [played by Michael C. Hall] says in an interview 'I'm not really gay,' it doesn't effect your enjoyment of the show when you're watching as long as the actors themselves are doing a good enough job."
"This wedding is designed to be entertaining and garner viewers and do what we do best," she said.
Wrestling could use some more viewers for sure.
In the last year, the once high-flying lost a law suit to the World Wildlife Fund and had to change its name from WWF to WWE and its logo to just plain WW.
And along the way, the company - which produces several shows including UPN's "Smackdown" and cable's "Raw" on TNN - watched the bottom drop out of its ratings. This year alone, its net income is down 79 percent over this quarter last year, and its ratings are off by as much as 20 percent.

Confirmed Unforgiven Match, Benoit/Angle, Gay Wedding
The WWE is handling the gay wedding storyline as if it is something hot mainstream wise. They had Stephanie McMahon conduct a short interview with the New York Post, which I posted earlier today, that was actually pretty positive. WWE also has Billy, Chuck, and Rico scheduled for a radio promotional tour tomorrow, which is something they rarely do.
At this point word going around is Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle is confirmed for the next WWE pay-per view, Unforgiven on September 22. The two started a program at last week's SmackDown! and from all indications, current plans are to expand on that feud leading into Unforgiven. Plans could change, as almost nothing is confirmed when it comes to WWE, but as of right now that is the plan.

Edge, Guerrero Involved In Backstage Altercation
At the Washington DC, Smackdown! event this past weekend, Eddie Guerrero and Edge got into a shoving match behind the curtain following their match, seen by some fans who happened to have seats near the entrance way.
Guerrero reportedly yelled at Edge for something that happened during the match, saying "Don't you ever (expletive) do that again." Edge then shoved Guerrero and officials stepped in to separate the two, shutting the curtain for fans that were looking in.

The word going around at last night's RAW was that Jerry "The King" Lawler had shown up after having recent cosmetic surgery on his face. Lawler had work done on his eyes, jaw and chin, according to several wrestlers.
Like is the case with many cosmetic surgeries, Lawler had black eyes, but covered this up on RAW with lots of make up. This is said to be one of the reasons why Lawler used his trusty binoculars constantly on last night's show. His face was apparently very swollen.

Test's WWE Status, Negative Feedback For RAW, & More Story By: Amish Patel September 10, 2002
It is likely that Test will be taking some time off very soon due to the cosmetic surgery he is undergoing on his chest, similar to that which the Rock has done in the past. Also similar to the Rock, Test has hired an agent and is actively seeking movie roles, something that has made many backstage laugh, as Test is considered one of the worst actors on the WWE active roster.
Pundits are already receiving many emails about last night's RAW and they are not at all positive. Many feel that last night's RAW was mainly used to hype and promote this week's SmackDown!. WWE is hoping that Thursday's show will be a huge hit amongst viewers, due to all the media coverage that has arose because of the 'gay wedding' angle, not to mention that Rico, Billy & Chuck themselves are going on a radio tour to push the angle. It will be interesting to see what the fans at home think when the ratings come in later today then on Friday.
The Parents Television Council (PTC) has once again named WWE SmackDown! in the top ten worst shows on television.

TNN Irate With Last Night's WWE RAW
Last night's edition of WWE RAW didn't please TNN or the parent company of TNN among several other networks, Viacom.
TNN were apparently very upset with the "Hot Lesbian Action" segment from RAW and informed WWE that the program was unacceptable and would not be tolerated in the future.
TNN made the following statement in regards to the program last night:
"TNN takes serious issue with the content of Monday night's WWE RAW episode, and has expressed its deep concern to the WWE. We don't condone the content of this episode, and will work diligently to ensure that similar occurrences do not appear again on our network."

WWE Interested In NWA-TNA Wrestlers, HBK/Madonna
The following news is derived from the Pro Wrestling Torch newsletter. Subscription details can be found at PWTorch.com.
WWE is apparently interested in signing current NWA-TNA and former WCW talent Malice. Malice portrayed the characters of "The Wall" and "A-Wall" in WCW and even spent a little bit of time in the WWE developmental system before being released as part of a financial cutback of the company. Since debuting in NWA-TNA about 12 weeks ago, Malice has caught the eyes of some in WWE leading to a lot of talk about making him an offer in the near future.
A column in the "Pittsburgh Post-Gazette" recently looked at the top ten "Showstoppas" in pro sports. WWE's Shawn Michaels came in first place on the list ahead of such other sports figures as Pedro Martinez, Venus & Serena Williams, Madonna, Alexei Kovalev, Brian Urlacher, Annika Sorenstam, Tracy McGrady, Judy Jetson, and Roy Jones Jr. The column also mentioned that if they were to explain why Michaels was on top of the list, readers wouldn't appreciate his being there.

Former WWE Diva Takes WWE To Court
The lawsuit between Nicole Bass and WWE went to court yesterday to determine what evidence can be presented to a jury when the case goes to trial.
Bass is arguing sexual harassment on the part of WWE due to the following incidents:
The Brooklyn Brawler "sexually assaulted" her on a WWE flight to Great Britain.
On an episode of RAW, HBK called her a "he" and made crude gestures.
Bass was injured with an actual guitar (not a prop) during a segment on WWE TV.
Nicole Bass claims to have received "unwanted sexual advances" while in the women's locker room.
WWE's strategy was weakened, however, as they will not be permitted to take a few things to trial. One of which is a collection of tapes from The Howard Stern show in which there is an ongoing issue, where her gender is debated.
