Major Screw Up At Survivor Series, Jeff Hardy/Rico
At Survivor Series, during the Six Man Tag Team Table match, while Rico was standing on the top rope prepping his moonsault for what seemed like 15 seconds, he screams clearly, "d**nit Jeff! Come on!" at which point Jeff Hardy jumps up and shakes the top rope causing Rico to fall. Lots of stupidity on both mens' parts; Jeff for not being where he needed to be for an important spot, and Rico for screaming spots to him from across the ring when there is a camera on him.

Ken Shamrock Speaks On WWE Return, UFC 40, & More
Thanks to Mike Pomeroy for sending along the following:
Ken Shamrock was on Rick and Brad in the morning on 100.5 FM KATT in Oklahoma City, about an hour ago (by phone), and here is a brief overview of what they discussed:
He hyped his fight this weekend with Tito Ortiz, stating that Ortiz taunted him after he had beaten one of Shamrock's guys at a previous UFC Fight. He flipped him off when Shamrock was talking to the ref about an illegal strike. He later was talking trash on Shamrock and the Lion's Den. Shamrock was under contract with WWF (at the time) and couldn't fight Ortiz. When he was injured in WWF, they stopped paying him, and he decided to go to the UFC President and demanded a fight with Ortiz, saying it would be the biggest fight they had ever had because it was personal.
Rick and Brad asked him who delivered the hardest shots in the WWE, and Shamrock said Faarooq and Bradshaw (with little hesitation). He talked about a "shoot" when a wrestling match turns serious, and how he would have to get things "back in control" when things weren't going his way.
He said he would definitely go back to WWE if the opportunity presented itself. Rick and Brad asked him about the WWF not paying him when he got injured, and Shamrock responded that it was in his contract. He knew going into it, that if he were to get injured and not be able to wrestle, they would stop paying him, so it was really a non-issue with him. He did state that if they had tried to screw him, by putting that stipulation in the "fine print" he would have been pissed. He stated that he knew it was a business decision.
The hosts concluded the interview by saying that they were going to be in Las Vegas this weekend and said they would go check out the UFC event.

Hogan Status, Dudleys to RAW, Big Show Speaks, Rico Injured
There is an interview up with the New WWE Champion The Big Show at WWE.com. In it he talks about working with a broken rib, Brock Lesnar, winning the title years ago and more. To check it out just head over to WWE.com.
Rico suffered several cuts last night at Survivor Series that left a pool of blood in the ring, and left him with eight stitches that helped close two of the more severe wounds.
D-Von will probably be written into the storylines as a part of the Big Show trade that took place several weeks ago when Big Show jumped to Smackdown!.
Hulk Hogan will not be appearing on WWE Television anytime in the near future, as he will be promoting his book throughout the next month. WWE will continue to support Hogan and his new autobiography.

What You Didn't See On Survivor Series Last Night
Thanks to reader Alann Pirard for sending in the following:
First off, w h*ever worked the sound last night did not do a very good job. The ring mic wasn't feeding through the Garden's speakers, so the matches sounded real dead...with no good mat-slamming sounds & the ref's pin counts weren't as audible. All of the promos, backstage & in the ring, were not loud enough & we had trouble hearing anything (And we were only in the 3rd tier...not that far away). Now having said that, the crowd was pretty hot all night. Not sure how it came off on TV, but they were definitely into most of the matches (Cruiserweight & Women's Title matches aside obviously).
Regal & Storm got tons of boos. Hurricane got a decent pop, but ol' Goldust's was much louder. Fans hated the ending, but got real loud when Dreamer brought in the Singapore cane. Big time "ECW" chants erupted.
I now know why Jeff Hardy still gets pushed. The place went crazy for him. His music came on & everyone was cheering. Crowd was really into this one. "Holy $hit" chants on all the spots. Lots of "We Want D-Von" chants. So when he came out, the place erupted. More "ECW" chants & tons of pops for the reunion. Wouldn't be surprised if they grab the tag straps tomorrow night (which would free Chris Jericho to finally deliver my dream singles feud of Y2J/Booker T.)
Crowd booed very loudly for Jaime Noble & Nidia. Place went silent for poor Billy Kidman. Despite the great action in the ring, the crowd was pretty silent until the very end. They did get behind Kidman pretty well, but there's just something missing. The cruiserweights just don't get enough TV time for the fans to care. Kidman actually got a decent pop when he did win the belt. People love that Shooting Star Press (Can't wait to see Lesnar do his version...) Kinda suprised they didn't have Torrie come out & mess with Nidia.
Note: The fans love Kurt Angle...his hug got so many laughs, it was great.
The hardcore women's match was mediocre. We were praying that one of them busted out a ladder, but it was not to be. Obviously. the fans went ga-ga for Trish. Pretty dead crowd reaction when Victoria won the belt. Not every day you see a suplex finish off someone. Crowd seemed pretty confused and a lot of people expected her to crack the mirror over Trish's head.
Madison Square Garden completely erupted when Brock Lesnar came out. Huge "Lesnar" chants throughout as well. My section all knew he was going to get screwed, but regardless, we were extremely upset when Show pinned him . Crowd also went bananas when Brock did the overhead suplex and the F-5, which looked absolutely awesome! The match was short, so the crowd didn't have any time to get bored watching the Big Slow. Too bad that Lesnar got injured and was forced to job the WWE belt to that 7-foot schmuck.
The Tag Match was great. All around great wrestling by all six competitors. Edge got a huge pop. And although they still chanted "You Suck" when he came out, the crowd was behind Kurt Angle most of all. When they were wearing down Benoit, there were multiple "We Want Angle" chants. And I hope you could hear it on TV, cause lots of people booed when Angle & Benoit were eliminated. Crowd stayed pretty hot for this one. Lots of "boos" for the Guerreros when they won, the people were not pleased. Edge & Rey Rey were very over in NYC.
The Christopher Nowinski/Mattitude segment was really hard to hear, but everyone just started booing whenever they stopped talking. Matt Hardy has won me over, I love Version 1...Anyways, biggest pop of the night so far when Scott Steiner came out. The siren started and the entire arena went crazy. I don't know how long they are going to keep Steiner as a face, but he had the whole crowd going tonight.
The Elimination Chamber looked awesome in person. RVD, Booker T & Kane were all very over. Crowd hated Jericho and the roof blew off when HBK came out. The match itself was awesome live. The crowd had great energy throughout and marked bigtime on the RVD & HBK top of the chamber spots. And the two shots Jericho & Michaels took through the "bulletproof" glass looked & sounded nasty. Lots of Boos when RVD & Booker T & Kane got eliminated. Lots of people were booing Triple H cause he was laying around most of the match. I now know he got smashed in the larynx, so I give him all the credit in the world for even finishing the match. A lot of fans still cheer HHH, even though he should be the most hated heel in the WWE. When Shawn Michaels actually pinned Triple H, I thought the entire building was going to collapse. The Garden was so loud! Easily the loudest pop when he won the belt.

How Much Money Did The Elimination Chamber Cost WWE?
As many of you saw last night, WWE had a special structure built called the Elimination Chamber. The cage took over three weeks to construct and was built in a remote location in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Because of the amount of steel and work involved in building the structure, the cost was said to be very high. How much you may be asking? Over $500,000!
WWE is expected to save the cage in Stamford, CT for future PPV matches.

Hulk Hogan/Goldberg Putting Together Wrestling PPV
The following news is derived and re-written from the Torch Newsletter.
Vince McMahon is said to be somewhat agitated as to how to handle the Hulk Hogan situation. Apparently, there is talk of Hogan working random Japanese shows and self-promoted shows in the United States.
Many feel that Hogan is seriously contemplating hitting the PPV industry with self-promoted wrestling shows where he and Goldberg would work together. Hogan, who had attempted to get Goldberg to sign with WWE when he first returned several months ago, has been in discussions with Goldberg over the possibility of putting together a couple of PPV shows.
This leaves Vince McMahon in a tough situation. If he promotes Hogan's book, since WWE would make profit from doing so, he's promoting a big name like Hogan who could turn around and become PPV competition for him. If he doesn't promote the book out of caution, he would willingly let his own project fail.

Live RAW Notes, Four Horsemen Reformation, HHH Injury Interview
HHH gave WWE.com a detailed report of his injury in an interview which you can read by clicking here.
It is now official that next week on RAW, HBK will face RVD for the World Title.
Thanks to Greg Ladd for sending in the following notes from tonight's RAW:
Hey man, I was at RAW tonight and not much happened after the show. RVD did a Spinarooni. They opened the show with some desire videos, y2j's, jeff hardy and a divas video with lilian garcia's new song. Scott Steiner got a HUGE pop when he came out and I don't know if it came over on television or not, but people were chanting his name during his promo with Chris Jericho. Jericho recieved alot of heat during his promo with Steiner and the "not a very nice person" chants were LOUD. After Batista left Kane laying in the ring, several fans symbolized the four horsemen by holding up four fingers. At the end of the show RVD and HBK both posed down for the audience but I am not sure what come over on TV and didn't. Overall it was a really good show. The Dudleys also got a nice pop for their first time together in months. This wqas probably the best Bridgeport crowd I have seen in a while.

WWE Superstar Robbed In New York City
The following is from an article off WWE.com:
Albert never wanted to come to New York City in the first place. He says it has it's advantages and disadvantages
Advantage: In a city like this, there are stores that cater to men who are around his size, 6 foot 7, 350 pounds. Like many Superstars, particularly those who didn't have a match tonight, Albert made his way down to one of nearby the big-and-tall type stores and, he says, "purchased a lot of clothing for a lot of money."
Of course, many fans approached Albert for an autograph while he was browsing for clothes. He told them he'd gladly sign once he was finished shopping. In retrospect, that may have been a mistake.
Disadvantage: With four bags of newly purchased clothes in his hands, Albert kept his word to sign autographs. But he put his bags down to sign. Many customers left the store with Albert's signature. One of them walked out with one of his bags - the one with his favorite outfit.
"Needless to say, it's a good thing Albert is not (wrestling) tonight," he said. "Because somebody was going to get hurt."
Referring to the theft, he added with a slight smirk, "That s*** doesn't happen in Boston."

Backstage News: Survivor Series, McMahon; more
The following are highlights from a WWE.com article:
Almost 18,000 people - 17,930 to be exact - attending Survivor Series. They paid $1,250,580 for tickets, which is an all-time record gross for World Wrestling Entertainment at Madison Square Garden. The previous record was $1.1 million, set at the 2000 Royal Rumble.
WWE CEO Linda McMahon was backstage at Survivor Series. She said she to be on the edge of her seat for the entire show.
Also backstage at Survivor Series were some of the participants on Blind Date which aired last week. "I wasn't interested in the girl at all, which I guess affected me having a good time," Maven said. "She was a super nice girl, a super nice human being, but not my type at all - (we had) completely different interests."
Nowinski said watching the episode was a lot like watching himself on Tough Enough, "meaning you have to relive something that might not be the best day of your life," he said.

Recap Of Bradshaw On CNBC, WorldCom & More
(The Following Is Derived From Peter Hudson & 1Wrestling)
It looks like no one wrote a recap of Bradshaw's appearance on CNBC's Squawk Box Monday morning, so here goes.
They opened the segment by showing a few wrestling clips while praising his stock market success. After viewing the clips of him throwing people around he said he'd "liked do that to Jack Grubman (former Salomon Smith Barney analyst) and Bernie Ebbers (former WorldCom exec) right now." They went on to talk about the WorldCom collapse and the changes in the market since. Bradshaw said he was high on the company based on their financial numbers, which turned out to be a lie. He currently likes Home Depot, Fannie Mae and Citibank.
To close the segment he plugged his book coming out in July, which will be called "Bradshaw on Finance" or "How to have more money." He says it will teach the very basics of the financial world, and that he included a bunch of pictures so his fellow wrestlers could follow along. Bradshaw came off looking very good and pretty knowledgeable.

Scott Steiner Update, Batista's Ego, Stephanie McMahon, more
It appears as if Scott Steiner will not be included in tonight's SmackDown! tapings. While it shouldn't be taken as a sign that he's definitely a RAW guy, it should be noted that the storyline plan at this point is to continue to draw out this "where will he sign" angle.
For those unaware, Stephanie McMahon was backstage at Survivor Series and RAW the last two days. For whatever reason, she wasn't on-camera during Survivor Series, which is kind of odd as they had Bischoff nearly approach her about the "big kiss" from the Halloween SmackDown!
Latest word going around the WWE locker room is that Dave Batista is starting to develop early signs of an ego. Obviously, no one likes a thingyy person, but it's even worse when you go against the code of locker room morale in WWE. Batista is still very early in his career, and the boys don't like rookies with ego's to say the least. Anyone remember the first few weeks of the WCW merger?

HHH Injury Update, Brock Lesnar's Change Of Plans, more
Despite having a broken rib and torn PCL in his left knee, Brock Lesnar will be at the SmackDown! tapings tonight. WWE offered to give Lesnar a much lighter schedule to allow him time to recover, but Lesnar insisted he worked. Lesnar originally broke the rib during a house show last Saturday, and his PCL tear doesn't require surger at this time. Lesnar will be taking one weekend off from house shows, and then has vowed to work his schedule as normal from that point forward. Looks as though Lesnar's plans have changed as one of the main reasons WWE decided to take the belt off of him, was because he supposed to take several weeks off.
In addition to the swelling of his neck, Triple H is also suffering from an arm injury. Whether it's a broken wrist, or just a bad sprain of the arm, HHH has been experiencing pretty severe shoulder pains since his match at Sunday's pay-per view. Triple H didn't get the arm checked out during his lengthy visit at the hospital for throat problems, so the severity of the injury is not yet clear at this point.

Hulk Hogan also did an interview for Wal-Mart stores. For those familiar with Wal-Mart, they feature video advertisements in their stores that often include prominent personalities talking about new items. In the ad featuring Hogan, he plugs his book and Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth.
WWE has an article up on their official site about Ric Flair's daughter Ashley. It talks about how Ashley is a star high-school volleyball player, and led her team to a state championship.
