HHH's New Faction, Nathan Jones A Former Criminal, Austin Update
As of now, WWE has still not decided on a name for the new faction featuring Triple H, Batista, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton.
Reports from recent Steve Austin autograph signings are coming in very well. Fans are generally happy with the treatment they get (which says something since most of the appearances have a $30 or $40 entrance fee) and say that Austin is being very kind to the fans. He also apparently looks like he's in decent shape, which backs the stories up that he's been training hard for a return.
Several Australian newspapers ran stories yesterday on Nathan Jones. As we reported earlier, he is indeed a former convicted criminal. The new articles, however, are somewhat shocking reporting that he spent eight years in prison. Additionally, one incident in jail actually took ten prison guards to restrain him. In fact, he even won some fame for actually ripping cell doors right out of the wall.

Rock Leaving WWE? Goldberg's Debut, WrestleMania Plans
To seperate truth from fiction in a pretty controversial article concerning The Rock's future, it breaks down like this.
He hasn't legally purchased the rights to "The Rock" name from Vince McMahon. He has shown interest in doing that, but no deal has been reached.
Goldberg was on the set of Rock's movie, "Helldorado". WWE has actually used The Rock as a negotiating tool to help move along discussions between Goldberg and WWE. I've read that they've had Rock call him a number of times as well.
As far as Rock returning as a heel, that's been the plan for quite a long time now. Vince McMahon takes to the New York crowd quite a bit, and when Brock Lesnar was heavily favored over him at SummerSlam, that seemed to indicate the change in his character for his next run with the company.
It is true that WWE is planning on having The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan at No Way Out. In fact, that should be announced sometime this week.
Not much truth to the finish where Vince McMahon will cost Hogan the match and cater to Rock bringing back the old Corporation gimmick. Although, I would expect McMahon to screw Hogan out of the finish so they could do the planned Hogan/McMahon match at WrestleMania.
There aren't any official plans on Rock leaving WWE for Hollywood permanently after this next run with the company. Rock has shown interest in focusing more on his film projects than wrestling, but continues to leave holes in his schedule to work a brief WWE schedule.

Goldberg/WWE Chances Decrease, Steiner, HBK/Jericho, More
Chances of Bill Goldberg coming in for the rumored 2-match deal with WWE have decreased over the last week or so. WWE had The Rock try and connect with Goldberg on a personal level to influence his decision, but to no avail. The possibility of Goldberg coming in for the original deal (one match at WrestleMania, another at Backlash) is still alive, but definitely less than it was several weeks ago.
In related news, Bill Goldberg will be holding a special AOL chat this Monday night, January 27 at 8:00PM Eastern Time.
As far as No Way Out is concerned, it looks as though the show will be headlined by The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan. There is talk of a Scott Steiner vs. Triple H rematch, although many are trying to convince those in favor of the match to change their minds. Big Show vs. Undertaker is pretty much a lock for the pay-per view, and Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho is probable. HBK told the WWE website that his current program with Chris Jericho will extend through WrestleMania, but due to the strong rumored card at WrestleMania, it would almost be meaningless to save the match for that show. However, there is a strong possibility that Chris Jericho and Test will have a singles match at No Way Out, saving the HBK/Jericho match for WrestleMania.
